Yamaha synthetic reed

Hello,
Has anyone tried those reeds? They seem to be for beginners, the price is half the other synthetic brands.

Thanks for making me aware of this.

I haven't tried it, but I'll bet--even marketed as a beginner's reed--that *for me* it probably couldn't be much inferior to D'Addario's Venn reed, about $10 more and not marketed to beginners.

I did see a Youtube video https://youtu.be/6ziUFIatiu0 which reviewed the Alto Sax version and said, like advertised, that is was good for beginners.

Cudos then to Yamaha for at least not upselling their product beyond its abilities and market.
