Hi all,
I'm searching for help identifying/valuing a Thomann clarinet - I took it into a shop with only a few minutes to spare and they stated it is worth over £100.
I know that it is wood, and the serial number is 1501089. It was given to me untouched by a distant family friend - he is a generally very savvy and its unlikely he was taken for a ride... however there doesn't appear to be a model number anywhere, just the serial number. Is this normal? If so, how do I go about finding out the model? He has no paperwork or anything unfortunately as he isn't particularly troubled by expenditure so didn't think he would need to keep it for return or re-sale purposes.
Sadly I can't commit to the clarinet, so any advice (including what to do if I can't find the model number and how to go about selling it on!) would be enormously appreciated.
Many thanks!
