I go about every three or four weeks, usually for 90+ minutes. Been doing that about 4 months. Previously, I didn' have lessons for 18 months. Previously, weekly for 1 hour, three years with same teacher, one year with a different one, during schoolyear only.
1/2 hour lessons weekly from grades 6-12, with a few different teachers. 1-hour weekly lessons first three years of college. 1-hour weekly lessons through a couple years of grad school. Off for a few years before going back to school for music degree (covered at end of first paragraph.)
Well, that was kind of complicated, wasn't it?
The last few months is the first time I've had lessons over an hour, and it's kind of nice...a lot gets covered, mostly orchestral excerpts, also learning a bit of Eb clarinet.
