The Moennig taper as produced by Buffet is NOT the same as the original made by Moennig himself.

The average numbers between Chadash and Moennig show the latter to have a bit more taper. There are historic reasons for this, with which I will not bore(sic) you.

Do not infer that the innards of all reverse taper barrels are purely conical. Variations include hourglass, high or low inflection points, etc. These variations mean something, as does the material and its contour.
