Kari Kriikku is one of the finest young players. His recording of Magnus Lindberg's Clarinet Concerto with the Finnish Radio Symphony, conducted by Sakari Oramo, has just been judged the best premiere recording in the BBC Music Awards http://www.playbillarts.com/news/article/4136.html.

I have a recording of his Crusell Quartets. Very enjoyable. He is a very talented player who deserves wider recognition.

just got his recording of the Lindberg Clarinet Concerto and i've never been so moved by an artist such as this. it's not just his playing!!!....... the concerto's score is amazing and played amazingly by the members of the finnish radio symphony orchestra!!!!
