Can anyone help. I'm invovled with a wind octet, does the Tanglewood Festival take applications from formed chamber groups? If so what will we need to do to apply, the group is based in London. Any info will great.

Tanglewood doesn't take preformed groups per se. If all 8 are accepted as orchestral fellows, you can play together but that doesn't seem to be what you are looking for. Try a residency at the Banff Centre in Canada- lots of performances and all the rehearsal time you could ever need in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Tanglewood is more hard core orchestra with some chamber music on the side.

The Norfolk Chamber Music Festival in Norfolk, CT, also accepts applications from preformed groups.
