please could anybody help with trill fingerings for an English system Thumbplate oboe, I am 10 and studying for my grade 5 in England, or suggest a book that contains fingerings

What notes are you trying to trill? I had a thumbplate system oboe, and all the trills remained the same. The exception was that the thumbplate allowed an additional way of playing B flat and C. You would release the thumbplate, and then the Right hand index finger wasn't needed for either note. Did you have a particular trill in mind?

The trills will be basically the same as for a conservatory system, except for anything involving Bb and C (where the thumbplate is raised). The charts available here should be a good starting point.
