Can somebody tell me just exactly what "fully automatic" or "semi-automatic" key system means? Also what exactly is the thumb plate system? I played years ago but quit when my oboe was stolen in college. Now I'm wanting to take it up again. I recognize a familiar oboe when I play it but I don't know the proper terminology for selecting the options I'm wanting.
