Hey everyone,
I saw this topic on the clarinet BBoard (I know!!! I'm a traitor! Haha I was just posting the earlier question about clarinet on there) and I thought it was kind of a cool idea...what did everyone else get for Christmas that was oboe-related? I got
-3/4 pound of Webber cane
-A reed soaker that clips onto a stand (cool!)
-A silk swab
-A hand-made reed-case made by my brother (that the clasp WON'T wear out on...you know what I'm talking about)
-About 5 CDs...and I have to say...ALEX KLEIN RULES!!! That guy is phenomnal...awesome recording of the Krommer concertos (#1-2, F major) and the Strauss concerto
-Book: "Oboeists telling tales". This is the FUNNIEST book I have seen in a very, very long time! Every story split my sides because I was laughing so hard. It's all stories by and about British oboeists and is absolutely hilarious. If you want more details let me know.
-IDRS subscription
Anyway, that's about it for me! Let me know what you got!
