this is my third year playing oboe. it is my first year in high school and i am the only oboe. i have one thing that bothers me. when i play, a few notes will have a vibrating sound. i dunno how to describe it exactly, but when i play notes (especially Bb, C, Db, D) it isnt a smooth sound. like i said before, you can hear a sort of vibrating sound when i play these notes. i dont know what could cause this sound. i dunno if it could be something with my oboe or my embouchure or what. but it really bothers me. does anyone know what i am talking about? or should i just beg my parents to let me get an instructor or someone to look at it?
oh, one more thing. i need to learn vibrato and have no clue how i would do that. tips/help please?
