Greetings all!
I just received an oboe, and I would like to figure out what kind it is. It is fairly old; I'd say at least 70 years old. It has a beautiful dark tone, and is in great condition, but the fingering is ... different. I have attached some pictures of it. I am assuming that it is a system 4, but that is a simply a guess, and it really doesn't look like the ones that I have seen. Also, it has "Germany" imprinted on the bottom. I can't find any German oboes that look like this one either.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as I would like to get some keying charts for it.
Thank you all!
C'est Mathieu!
