I'm ready to get back into making reeds after a long absence from that side of my oboeing.
BUT...what knife to buy? I have no idea what I have had in the past but know that my knives were well used (that's being very nice...should I mention that my first knife was put to death because I decided to use the knife sharpener that was built into the back of the electric can opener in the kitchen?)
All this hollow, double, beveled verbage...soft, medium, hard...I'm sure there's a whole lot of personal preference into which knife wins - I'm hoping that all of you will offer your words of wisdom...I really only want to purchase one knife.
And I promise not to get it near the electric knife sharpener in the kitchen!!
