I had one about 10 years ago. Very fine instrument. Key work was silky smooth. Response was very good except for a couple of slightly stuffy notes in the clarion just above the register vent switchover (E, F, and F#). This seems to be typical of bass clarinets. If you have a chance to buy one for a good price I would grab it. The 37 is the immediate predecessor of the model 67 (Privilege).

Apart from an extra adjusting screw arm on the lower joint (helping the RH F/C key to be held closed), what's the difference between this model and the 25/II low C bass (from 1996 onwards)?
I've worked on a few of them - they are nice players with the robust Selmer sound, but the keywork on the lower joint is far more complicated than it really needs to be compared to post-1999 Buffet Prestige basses.
The LH3 fingerplate is adjustable to suit all hand/finger sizes, but make sure it's both fitting well and securely tightened as a replacement can be expensive if it gets lost.
The front (RH pinky) low D touch in particular being incredibly short which makes it feel heavy to use (even when backing the spring tension off as far as possible), added to the fact the low D key is split into several sections instead of being a single key.
