Hi all!
I've noticed my Vandoren M13 Lyre has a slightly narrower bore than the rest of the instrument (well, at least at the barrel). The instrument is solidly in-tune, and I'm happy with the sound I get from the setup (Vandoren blues 3.5, optimum lig). Is there something that might be negatively impacted by this discrepancy in bore? The C85 that came with the horn matches the bore exactly but I'm not a fan of the sound I get (too wide/spread for me).

Abstract theory (something along the lines of "clarinet mouthpiece bores ought always to match the barrel bores of the instruments that are paired with") should not be allowed to drive out common sense and direct experience. If the smaller bore M13 Lyre plays in tune, you like the sound, you can articulate well on it, and it blends musically with other instruments, why change to another mouthpiece, especially the C85, when you don't even like the sound?
If you are just curious, you might have a look at the dimensions of the new Selmer Focus mouthpieces to see if they align more with the Selmer bore. My experience with them (and I don't play a Selmer Signature) is that they can be very good but usually need to be refaced. But if you get a better response from the Vandoren anyway, then you should stay with that. Look for another mouthpiece only when some demand is placed on you that the present mouthpiece seems unable to meet. For example, if you can't play loud enough (or soft enough) in a certain passage. Or it doesn't blend with the horns as well as it should. Or maybe you need to tongue faster and lighter than it seems to allow. Without a definite improvement goal of this kind in mind, there is no reason to hunt for another mouthpiece.

In a totally unscientific reply, if it works even if it was meant for another clarinet don't worry and just use it. (If it works implies that it doesn't affect your pitch, etc.) I have been having an interesting synergy between a heavy ringless Ripa bell and my CSVR. I will talk about it more later.
