Hi again,
I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times..
I have a loose pad, it's in fine shape, the
glue has just become unsticky.
Is this something I can fix myself? or do I need
to take it in to a tech. If so... what do I do.

If I were you I would take it to my tech. I have a great relationship with him and it would take him 2 minutes to do the fix and it would be done right. I want my horns to be in perfect shape. That way with everything sounds rotten I know it is me and not my horn.

I, as a tech, can tell you that there is a real art to installing a pad so that it is neat AND guaranteed not to leak - learnt from plenty experience. If you replace a used one it is highly likely to be successful. The appropriate glue is also important.
