Contrabass needed

Hello all,
My High School quintet will be playing Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" in the spring, and we will nedd a Bb Contrabass. If anyone knows where we can borrow/rent/somehow acquire, please email me at: 1st_oboe@excite.com

Aaron,

Maybe you could try contacting Mtn. Home High School. I know they aren't using their contrabass this year. I think it's in decent shape. Good luck!

Also check with local repair shops and the music dept of any colleges around you. I might add, if you score one of the plastic contras, be VERY careful as they can snap in half at the middle tenon if knocked over or dropped. Have fun though, as they are lots of fun to play.
