Does anyone here practice C# Major/Minor; D Major/Minor and Eb Major/Minor in 3 octaves on a daily basis (ending on C# 7)? Would you care to share your preferred fingerings? I have the Ridenour book and the Opperman extended range book, but am interested what works for other people.

I don't. Just stop at C maj. 99.9999999999% of my playing never calls for any notes above that range, so why bother? This ought to get some commentary.............

And why not add E in 4 octaves if you're messing around with those screechy notes anyway? I don't play those notes either, and since I use Baermann for my scale workouts, most scales get close to that area anyway, because they cover the clarinet's range outside of the tonic notes.

Both good points, but I'd rather be safe than sorry....
