I have an audition coming up soon and it requires sight reading. I'm terrible at sight reading under pressure, but I can read 4/4 pretty well during auditions. So my question is (as stupid as it may sound): how likely am I to be able to read cut time and 6/8 like 4/4 and get past to the next sight reading? Thanks in advance!

There is no way to predict the outcome of this audition. Wish for luck and you might get it!
There's lots you can do to improve the odds in future auditions though. Get a copy of Paul Harris's Improve Your Sight Reading (available at https://www.vcisinc.com.clarinetmusicalstudies.htm). Harris starts off near the beginning with practice in compound time. Get a book of first cl. parts to the Sousa marches; they're in a variety of time signatures. Work every day on practice books that emphasize counting and rhythmical exactitude. Some good ones are Paul Jeanjean 20 Progressive and Melodic Studies, Book 1 and 2, Pasquale Bona Complete Method of Rhythmical Articulation, and Hymie Voxman's Classical Studies (Bach in all his many time signatures).

For me it helps to look at the page and "see" the names of the notes going by rather than fingerings.
As far as rhythms when you sight read, I'd just say have an idea how that rhythm sounds before you play it (such as 6/8 being two beats of "triplets" per bar) at the tempo designated (have some idea what 60 beats per minute is: equal one second, vs. say 120 beats per minute: a standard march).
The Bona "Rhythmic Articulation" is great; highly recommended!
