Ken fails to point out that the police officer responsible for the case was Michael Collins, better known to BBoard regulars as the man who played the Beethoven violin concerto on the clarinet.
Pot calling kettle black, methinks.....
(Disclaimer: I like the "Beethoven clarinet concerto", and I like playing my trombone REALLY LOUDLY.)

To be fair, if you read the article, this guy had been playing them in his APARTMENT and had been asked many times to keep the noise down.
So where does the --"with which he was bothering the town." -- come from?

Hi,
I am reminded of this trombone story concerning a performance of the 1812 (maybe an urban legend but wonderful reading).
