"We are delighted that the court has seen fit to forfeit the equipment this man used to indulge in antisocial behaviour and inflict misery on his neighbours."
All the trombonists I've ever known have been quite social and the first to offer you a drink ...GBK

Ken fails to point out that the police officer responsible for the case was Michael Collins, better known to BBoard regulars as the man who played the Beethoven violin concerto on the clarinet.
Pot calling kettle black, methinks.....
(Disclaimer: I like the "Beethoven clarinet concerto", and I like playing my trombone REALLY LOUDLY.)

If there are so many people on this board unwilling or unable to have a civil and balanced discussion about important issues, then I shan't bother to post here any more.
To the great relief of many of you, no doubt.

To be fair, if you read the article, this guy had been playing them in his APARTMENT and had been asked many times to keep the noise down.
So where does the --"with which he was bothering the town." -- come from?

Hi,
I am reminded of this trombone story concerning a performance of the 1812 (maybe an urban legend but wonderful reading).

Since I have switched from clarinet to tenor sax in one concert bands I play in, I'm back over by the bones. They are a pretty crazy bunch and I love it.
