Two-mic pick-up systems?!

This has been addressed before, but...

I see several two-mic systems on the market for clarinet, and wonder how players rate and value these. Is the additional cost justified, or is a single pick-up at the bell sufficient?

Among available systems are:

AMT WS http://www.appliedmic.com/details.asp?ID=3

SD Systems LCM 82 http://www.sdsystems.com/82/82.htm

Perhaps a Codera or other brand exists in a two-mic format?

I also wonder if anyone has started out with a single mic, like a Pro 35X, and moved onto a two-mic system?
