Re: turkish clarinet (sorry for double post)

The Turkish clarinetists mainly play Albert system G klarnets. This is the "base" for their music. Then it is the musical modal system they use. Then it is the "style" of blowing, embouchure, fingering, etc. that they use which all make their music what it is. Some, very few, have used Boehm system, but the vast majority use the Albert in G. There are some Turkish makers, and then there are the G Albert (German system) klarnets made by Amati and Karl Hammerschmidt companies. Serkan Cagri has his name ("signature") on klarnets made by these two companies. Some use/have used metal G Albert klarnets.
Good luck.
John
