Manresa Jesuit Retreat Center booked two bands for a joint concert at 3:00PM on January 26 in Birmingham, MI: Klezmer Fusion Band (Ann Arbor), and Wisaal (Arabic-influenced fusion - Lansing).
Yes this is right: Jesuits book Jewish and Arabic bands to play a concert!
No idea how what kind of house will come to an event like this in Birmingham, but I think it is going to be a gas to perform.

How cool was it that Wisaal's reed player Will Cicola and I both have Stephen Fox C clarinets!
Will's (#33?) is 3 years old, has 3 register vents, is extended to a low D, and was built with a Kooiman thumb rest.
Mine (#3) is 12 years old, has 2 register vents and is otherwise standard.
