I just bought a clarinet on E-Bay for my daughter's use in school. (I know, shame on me for not doing my research first, but time was short). It hasn't arrived yet, but it's a Yamaha YCL-23 in virtually new condition.
My local music store warns me that this clarinet could have different fingerings because it was made in Japan. I wonder about this, especially since this guy really wants to sell me one of his clarinets. Anybody know if this is true? Do all Bb clarinets have the same fingering?
