The Alto Clarinet is an Eb instrument while the Soprano is a Bb instrument. When you see a C on the Alto Music, it is actually an Eb. An actual Eb is written as an F for a Bb instrument. So a C on an alto will become an F on a soprano.
To transpose, add one flat to the key signature or take away one sharp. Move every note up a fourth (two whole tones and a semitone). So C --> F, D-->G, E-->A and so on. You will end up playing the music an octave higher than it would be played on an alto, but there's nothing you can do about that.

Alto is in Eb and clarinet in Bb, therefore just go transpose one semitone down.
