 Gouging and good reeds

Well,

I have become super super picky from the splitting of the cane to each gouged piece and throwing out pieces that don't meet my standards.

If not near perfect (if perfection exists) I discard the piece.

Well reed making is much more consistent and rewarding.

It all starts with that piece of tube cane!
