I dunno about that. I just got home from my quintet rehearsal, and I surely spent a lot of energy flipping pages in the Ibert "Trois Pieces Breves".

You just have to hope for kind editors who place the rests strategically enough to allow you to turn pages gracefully, and not in the middle of flying scales at 112.

Has anyone ever heard of an orchestral player using a scrolling screen to read from? Seems like an idea whose time might have come -- essentially, a laptop built into a music stand.
