The adjustment of the E is quite complex since it can involve several different adjustment screws, and notes.
Here are a few things for you to try:
1. Check that the small pad between your RH 1st and 2nd finger is closing fully.
You can do this by asking someone to press on it while you play E, or by fingering E with your 1st and 3rd fingers and pressing the small pad with your 2nd finger. Does this "fix" the problem?
If so, let me know, and I'll tell you what to do from there.
