Thanks for the replies.

Hautbois - I didn't remember if your reeds had wires or not (BBF a number of years ago, we played 2 oda, I also played EH and ob. on that one. Busy week!)...

Koch Fan - Thanks! Bach did go well. The other ODA player had a wire as did the EH (I do wire my EH reeds).

I wound up not wiring the reed I used and it played just fine :-) (happy dance!)
