it could be your oboe came out of adjustment. i highly recommend the mcfarland booklet that costs about $15 at hodge or other places...it's very systematic, you don't need to be very mechanically inclined, and it works like a charm. everyone should know how to adjust their oboe, given how easy it is.
for example, a sharp e can be a result of the d key being out of adjustment. if you're getting spit stuck down there, you should definitely be swabbing more often. also, don't roll your oboe around on your lap or tilt it sideways when there's a lot of water inside. keep the water running down the bottom of the bore so it doesn't roll into the f resonance key.
