OK, uhm, I forgot to tell you that I usually keep my reeds a tad thicker (and I insist on A TAD), but still scrape the very tip of the corners pretty thin, to ensure vibration without compromising sound too much. It's MY trick, but I'm interrested in knowing what are other "cold climate players" tricks!
