I still have my trusty MiniDisc recorder. Still does its job. Still a pain in the rear to transfer to the computer.
I work at a music store, and we recently got the H4's in. MAN, I can't tell you how much I want to use my discount on that thing!!! The menus seem a little daunting at first, but they're really not too bad when you're holding the thing.
The best feature, in my opinion, is that when you stop recording and start again, it automatically starts a new sound file. It's such a nice thing that you probably wouldn't realize until you didn't have it.
Go with the H4. You won't be let down!
