The Buffet Crampon oboe that I'm playing has a serial number of 12610 and says "made in Germany". I would love to know what line of oboe this is (not that it would improve my tone or make my fingers work any better). How can I find out what this oboe is?
I've been to the Buffet Crampon website and typed in the serial number with no results.
Thanks for any help.

if you have a left f and Bb resonance key but your d key is not split, then you have the buffet model 4052, i used to own one.

oboesquirrel, thanks so much. I found a photo of the 4052 online and that isn't what I have. But, it prompted me to search further and I think that I may have a 4051 which would make sense since mine was 7 to 9 years old when I bought it "new" from the store last December. (Mine doesn't have the 3rd octave key.)
