Hello,

I have a digital indicator/micrometer I bought some years back from Harris Reed Case. I’m wondering if anyone knows how to change the battery, or if the battery can be changed at all? Image attached.

Thanks!
Christina

This is a Mitutoyo Thickness Guage. Contact Mitutoyo USA to find a local rep.

I couldn't find any details on battery replacement online. BTW The battery is meant to last 5000 hours so you must have used this a lot!

On the linked page it says "SR-44" for the battery type, so if that's the gauge, that's the battery. I'm pretty sure I've put SR-44s in something during the last decade, so I think it's a rather common silver oxide cell.
