Most intrigued by ring on left pinky, some kind of professional credential perhaps, or just jewelry? If credential, interested in more details about that
... thought occurs it could be posed picture by actor or modern-day Baroque player in costume, but if genuine historical portrait of presumably Russian oboist, but not necessarily Russian, would really like to identify
