@rachel, right, that is the tricky adjustment.
On the right hand, that tiny key (actually the F# tone-hole) must seal perfectly either with the middle finger (E fingering) or with the ring-finger (Forked F).
In addition, your ring finger opens the forked-F vent, and the middle finger closes it again.
Thus, depressing the middle-finger (E fingering) must close 3 different keys perfectly; the key itself, the F# tone-hole, and the forked-F vent.
