... warmups good! physical and nervous tension definitely benefit from such a routine, but who arrives early enough at performances nowadays in today's instant rush world battling seasonal traffic between gigs on the same day?
... and after you've been sitting pretty still for umpteen rest bars right under that stage flood-light, which highlights every move you make, while strings have been busy bowing away, what say you to staying warmed up, wetted up and hanging loose just before that important thematic oboe solo?
