I'm attempting to decide between a Marigaux Strasser SML in wonderful shape, or a Loree that's a little older/shabby (but nothing a trip to Chudnow's won't fix). As far as the embouchure, I totally agree. Not planning on over-playing, especially not in the beginning.
I was wondering if you also had any advice about what reeds to get at this point. I'm assuming I need to start with soft. I used to make my own reeds, but don't remember enough information about them at this point.
