It was people sharing their stories on this BBoard that inspired me to start my blog. Now, 2 years later, it is blessed with visits by over 90 countries on an average of 2500 visits a month!
I am a hobby-ist and my blog is about showing that the oboe is all about ENJOYMENT! Not at all the impossible instrument we are often led to believe it is. I earn a living developping computer software and I RELAX and relieve my stresses by practicing my favourite instrument, and yes, making reeds for it!

My latest recording is a piece by the great and amazing Astor Piazzola: Libertango. This is the simplest home-recording I have made up to now but the tune might be one of the most demanding. This shows how the determination to simply enjoy striving to find the beautiful sounds that can come from our instrument of choice.

I really enjoyed the piece--lively and fun. You did a great job and I can tell that your endurance is great now You play really well and those high notes really sang. I do enjoy reading your blog now and again. Have a good year!
