The orchestra is the Berliner Philharmoniker. It would be fair to assume that the oboist is Jonathan Kelly, since it's obviously not Albrecht Mayer.

Love that solo. I frequently hear David Weber play it while testing a really good oboe or reed that he likes.

Now I know what attracted me to the video besides the wonderful craftsmanship of his playing.

It is the warmth of his Marigaux Oboe.
