The aria is "D'Armour L'Ardente flamme" and has that damn angled horn ever been played more gorgeously? I hope I can downlaod the solo for you.

I'm an opera buff, so I bought the whole album. Thanks so much for the reference; I had no idea this recording existed. As you say, elegant, beautiful playing.
Do you know the recording of the Prelude to Act III of Tristan played by Ferald Capps and the Minnesota Orchestra? For my money, the finest performance of the piece ever done. If you don't know it, email me privately and I'll tell you where to find it...
Thanks again for the Bloom!
