Hey, Howard!

Are you Dutch?

Seems to me I remember something to that effect.

So, how would you characterize the "Dutch" school of oboe playing?

(BTW, a close friend in our community is Dutch -- just took American citizenship, after living here for about 35 years.)

I also had the great pleasure of playing the music of a Dutch composer (Cor deGroot) on my recent recital -- his Serenade for Oboe and Bassoon. A very clever piece to play.
