... oooo yes, Albinoni Op. 9 No. 2 :-)
isn't that long intro crescendo wonderful, cantibile style beautiful, with repeats too, sostenuto challenge throughout, pp finale
... but, haven't heard it in connection with bittersweet royal romance, so hasn't struck me as heart-breaking emotively, different impressions, find it more relaxing, like a good holiday at easier pace of lifestyle than today's work-a-day frenzy
i have Anthony Camden's version on CD (Naxos), haven't heard Gordon Hunt's rendition (or anybody else's yet) sorry to say, is his recorded?
haven't seen sheet music, what key's it in? CD cover page no info and perfect pitch musical ear lessons continue
and yes, think i'll be practising long tones for umpteen years before attempting anything like that which certainly exposes several aspects of technique and musicality
