Can't you carry them using the stand with the instrument resting into you?
If I've got 2 or 3 instruments to carry in one go I put them all on the one stand (triple oboe/cor/d'amore stand) to make it a doddle carrying them all. I carry them all by holding the base of the stand and rest the instruments (minus reeds/crooks) onto my chest/shoulder to prevent them getting knocked.
