The AO1 is the prof model semi automatique,the AO1N is the automatique version.
The FO1 is the intermediate version.
The pré 2007 versions are the ones I personally like more.
The ones made from Gaiac wood that I owned where the most beautifil ones. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guaiacum
After 2007 they introduced the V-bore and we tested them with the first oboe of Holland Symphonia,the pricipal of the Rotterdam Symphonie orchestra,and Werner Herbers former principal of the Concertgebouw Orchestra.
They all came to the same conclusion:free blowing but with limitations in dynamics and expression.
