Well, there are three sessions a day. The first morning session is all Barret and Ferling. One person is assigned each excerpt, and they'll play through it in front of the class. Only one of the guest teachers is up front with them, and they'll then talk them through it and have them play bits of it again, just like any other masterclass. The second afternoon session is different every day -- it could be a lecture about basics or reedmaking or recording, more Barret, or simply free time to practice or go hiking or I think there might have even been swimming last year. The third evening session is excerpts and then solos. Two people are assigned to each excerpt. They'll both play it one after the other, and then the teacher will probably ask some questions about the context or background of the excerpt. He'll work with each of them one at a time, and it's back to the normal masterclass setting. Solos are last. The person will play with the piano accompanist, and then get a few comments, but it's not covered as in-depth as the excerpts or etudes.
As for preparations, definitely practice your assignments like crazy and listen to recordings and all that. Research some background information about your excerpt or solo, in case you're asked. Print all of the excerpts and find the full parts if possible (but don't worry about it too much!). Your reeds might react differently on top of the mountain, so you might want to bring a couple of blanks to finish when you're actually there. And that's all I can think of right now!
I was intimidated as well last year, but I quickly got over it. There are people of all different ages and skill levels, and the atmosphere isn't at all cutthroat or competitive. You'll love it!
I hope I helped somewhat =)
