Thanks for the encouragement guys. I don't think i have 10 years...i remember my previous teacher telling me that everyone at the Concertgebouw made beautiful reeds in the 70s-80s. And there was a reed class in Sweelinck and everyone had to learn how to make good reeds. In my case here we do not have a reed class...it is not so easy to get advise on good reeds...you have the tools and the measurements and really some quite good cane i am sure! But still there so many things that are not mentioned in textbooks likes how to "overlap" in the bottom, or kinds of shapes that fit what kind of staples etc..not easy...
