three immediate possibilities from what you've said
muscular abs habitually pushing air too hard for current 'softer' reed/s and lips trying to restrain the air too much, reed overblown into fibrillation, so finding the right balance is a process of discovery
relative proportion of thinness and thickness in your reed not evenly distributed, sounds like tip (more likely) or back windows (less likely) might be too thin and heart too thick, relative to each other
but it depends on where exactly your lips are pressing the reed when it squeaks? sometimes just a bit of rollover -- or rollout -- can change everything, you may be used to playing the blue Nielsen's in one spot but your hand-made's may need to be played in a slightly different place
