I had the C#/G# pad cup linked to the RH main action on my Prestige bass back in 2000 and recently added it to a more recent one the other week. This version has the adjusting screw going through the long Bb link. See attachments.
While Selmer and some others have it fully linked, it's strange Buffet haven't offered that on their basses for several decades. Even Malerne offered it on most of their basses.
The only Buffet-style basses with it fitted are the Royal Global ones which is a long arm soldered directly to the C/G vent pad cup with an adjusting screw that connects it to the C#/G# pad cup, similar to the F#-G# link you'd see on oboes/cors and saxes.
