 BUFFET logo with H Bettoney

Hi all. My first post on this most interesting and informative website. My dads Bb/A set of clarinets has the Bettoney stamp in simple block letter just below the more artistic Buffet Crampon logo on the bells. I was told that my dads sister purchased the set while touring France and brought them home as a gift c.1940. Soo, either the Bettoney stamp was applied in Paris, or, the story is not accurate. Any info that will assist in clearing up this mystery would be appreciated. To pose the question in simplest form: Did Buffet stamp the Bettoney name during manufacture in Paris, or was it done after arrival in Boston?
